Q: Do I need an account?

No. Guest mode unlocks the full experience. An account is only for saving and syncing your layouts across devices — create or delete it anytime from the login screen.

Q: Where is my data stored?

After you sign up, your username, password, and layouts are uploaded and stored on the developer's server over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Passwords are stored only as secure hashes — never in plain text — and never shared with third parties. Guest mode collects no account data.

Q: How do I delete my account and all data?

Open the login screen → select your signed-in account → tap "Delete Account" → confirm. The account and all its layouts are permanently removed from the server, and the local login credential is cleared.

Q: Which languages are supported?

Simplified Chinese and English. Switch anytime from the top-right corner of the main screen; verdict texts are translated too.

Q: What are the scores based on?

A rule engine curated from classical texts such as Yangzhai Shishu, combined with modern living habits. It scores across five pillars with classical references. Content is for cultural reference and entertainment only — not professional advice.

After you sign up, your username, password (stored only as a secure hash), and layout data are stored on our server over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, used solely for the account and layout sync features. This app contains no ads and no tracking, shares nothing with third parties, and you can delete your account and all data anytime in the app.

1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, Feng Shui Studio collects your username, password, and the layouts you choose to save. Nothing else — no name, location, contacts, or photos. Guest mode collects no account data.

2. Data Storage & Transmission

Your username, password, and layouts are transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and stored on the developer's server, solely for account and layout sync.
Passwords are stored on the server only as bcrypt hashes; we never store plain-text passwords.
Your device keeps only the login credential (token) and interface preferences — never your password.
You can delete your account and all server-side layouts at once via "Delete Account" in the app; uninstalling the app clears the local credential and preferences.

3. Third-Party Services

This app integrates no third-party analytics, advertising, push, or tracking SDKs, and shares no data with any third party.

4. Your Rights

You may view, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. Use "Delete Account" in the app to remove your account and all related data from the server, or sign out to clear the local credential. For assistance, contact us at the email below.

5. Data Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections; passwords are stored only as bcrypt hashes, never in plain text. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect server data, but please understand that no method of transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security.
